Saturday Spring Training
The Spring Soccer Training is for the children who are NOT on Spring Travel Teams, that would like to participate in an 8 session course to sharpen their skills for the upcoming fall season which will begin in August. Last year, this proved to be very successful, especially to the younger children who are just learning the game. There will be professional trainers to teach the children proper technique and to either instill confidence in their game or to get them comfortable around other children.
We will try to limit the class sizes to no more than 12 to 15 kids and if more are added, we will add another trainer to the class. This will ensure the children will get more one on one training than if it were 20 kids to one teacher.
Our trainer, Paul Kitson and his staff, are looking forward to teaching the children again this spring. There will be 8 sessions that will start on Saturday, April 15th and are as follows (grades shown are for now, not the fall of 2016):
9:00 am -10:00 am Children born in 2012 or enrolled in Pre-K or Kindergarten now.
10:15 am -11:15 am Children in 1st and 2nd grade.
11:30 am - 12:30 pm Children in 3rd thru 8th grade (split into 3rd-5th and 6th-8th)
Cost will be $100 for the 8, 1 hour sessions. Deadline to register is April 10th. All training sessions will be at Woodland Park in Hasbrouck Heights on the pond area. Shin guards are required, cleats should be worn and please bring plenty of water. Bathroom facilities are still closed at this time and may not be available.
